Recently got the show Muse, and I realized that I enjoy TV show style porn. Ongoing plot, decent acting, sex. 

Another one I downloaded but haven't watched yet is Virtualia.

A lot of movies from the 70s had plots, decent acting, but they're... Dated. Looking for stuff that's a bit more up to date.

Love, Death + Robots is pretty stylized adult animation/storytelling.  While it doesn't fully venture into X=Rated territory except in a few episodes, especially in the Episode Beyond the Aquila Rift.  other times in The Witness and Sonnie's Edge.  

You can see the series on Netflix but I warn it has a lot of violence and stylized violence in it.  Some episodes have more than others but still thought I'd warn you anyway. 

On the softcore to hardcore side, you have Zane's Sex Chronicles, Magic City anything Emmanuelle related.  I'd also recommend X=Rated: The Greatest Adult Movies of All Time documentary.  

A Personal favorite of mine is House of Love starring Kira Reed. That's a lot of what I can recall in terms of live action tv series/films with plot. Outside of the Fairytale/Movie parodies, like Pirates and Pirates II.  Those have plot and are relatively high production value but aren't exactly TV Shows.   In terms of animated/hentai/3d adult stuff with plot there's tons to choose from, but it seemed like you wanted live action so I decided to give a couple

I like some of the Skinemax stuff. Banshee was alright and it had a lot of softcore. A lot. Strike Back had at least one per episode in the first two seasons, but later dropped them for story. The story was actually good too.
