UEFA allow fans to return to stadiums at 30 percent capacity
#1
UEFA want to build on the progress made at the UEFA Super Cup, which had more than 15,000 fans present, by allowing teams and nations to have supporters present in stadiums at 30 percent capacity.
This is where local laws permit, and it will start with the upcoming international games, which get underway next week.
UEFA will continue to monitor the situation, but its leaders believe that the time has come for supporters to return to stadiums, which will somewhat reduce the economic impact of the crisis due to the lack of fans.
Everything depends on the political authorities of each country, but being present for football matches again is now a real possibility.
As noted, the number of supporters present will be limited to 30 percent of the stadium's capacity, while away fans will not be allowed until further notice.
UEFA matches may not be played with fans if the local authorities do not allow it, and the 30 percent capacity can only be reached if the limit set by local authorities is not lower, in which case the lower limit would apply.
Keeping social distance will be mandatory for supporters, and other precautionary measures such as the use of masks must be implemented in accordance with local regulations.
