Thoughts on escorts

Escorting and other activities that women do are often illegal or in a grey area on the us but in the rest of the world it is more widely accepted as a part of life. Why is the US like this?

The US is far less conservative regarding prostitution. It is at least legal in certain states. In the UK for example it is completely illegal everywhere though police will often look the other way in certain zones and they tend to ignore brothels.

This is not true. A whole bunch of related things are illegal, but the act of paying for sex is not, in itself, illegal in the UK.

Like a lot of UK laws, its overly complicated. I believe its the act of solicting for sex. Its like, i cant approach a hooker and ask her for sex in return for money but i can fuck her and give her money afterwards and not be prosecuted... or something like that. I know of the soliciting thing as the chancellor for Manchester uni got busted three times for kerb crawling and was in the metro for it Big Grin

I don't see anything wrong with it

I live in France, and here it's not more accepted than in the US. I think the gray zone comes from the fact that you never know if the girl is independant or not :/

I don't particularly see anything wrong with it. But once it gets into human traffiking, that's a no from me, bud.

Very complicated as already mentioned in the UK. However with the amount of people on AdultWork, this seems to be the correct way of doing it. Should be legalised, it is the oldest profession after all!
