Just curious on what everyone's opinion on VR is. It took me a while to really come around to it since the graphics don't look like they always do in like Tav and movies. Eventually I realized that that's not realistic and what we have right now is already pretty amazing even if it looks all cartoons.

I'd have to agree about it being great even if cartoonish, plus I don't think it will be movie style realstic any time soon.

VR is a fantastic experience.
Those who say "You need to try it to really know what it is" are actually very correct.
I have an Oculus Quest 1 and brought it around to my friend's houses (pre-COVID) and everyone I showed became a believer when they tried it out.

The immersion is so high. Just be careful of motion sickness.
Get your friends to use very stationary and safe games.
If the first experience gives your friend a headache for an hour or two - its VERY hard to get them to come back to VR ever again.
