Looking for a new RTS or turn-based strategy game to play. Most of what I've played is either Command and Conquer games or games developed by Paradox Interactive.

Have you tried the Valkyria Chronicles series ?
There are very good games

I strongly recommend Civilization 6. It's a turn-based strategy game
