What are yall's thoughts on the balance between salary vs. quality of life for software jobs? For example high salary USA vs lower in Europe but where it might be higher QoL or better work-life balance?

I think there’s a string correlation between the two for sure. If you work backend at let’s say some lesser known insurance company and only make 90k than yeah your quality of life is going to suck. Location vs quality of life for software developers is probably a better correlation to look at it if you want to see a bigger discrepancy
