I've been teaching art history for around 5 years now. What I always try to do is to inspire my students, be them architects or art students. The thing about art is that it is not supposed to be full of rules and all that (Renaissance being a very specific and different thing among the others)...art is about feeling. And that's what I try to teach my students. I really try not to put them in the "school box"...it is not easy, some students are used to do things just to fit into the educational system...
