Gym equipment price normalization
#1
Since the pandemic started in Feb, gym equipment skyrocket at official retailers and used market, but things have started to come back to baseline prices.

One thing that hasn't been restocking or coming down at a reasonable pace is weight plates. All stores I've seen are either still always out of stock or at $2/lb.

What do you guys think about when these prices will return back to true normal?

things won't normalize for a long time. Maybe a year of lockdown.

some states have started to reopen gyms, but probably give it a few months

I finished my homegym in february. I didn't even check any prices until now, I guess I really lucked out..

Most reputable fitness equipment places aren't price gouging when they have stuff in stock. You just need to be diligent and don't expect any deal. I got a full set of bumper plates from Rogue...i did have to buy in kgs though.

Pricing is back now

Has anyone been able to find gym equipment, sold out everywhere?

What will really be interesting is how much "used" gym equipment and bicycles will be on the market right after everything is back to normal.  Lots are paying high dollar and will go back to not using it very quickly.

It won't be the same again.

I think things might not go back to normal for a looong time so possibly
