The biggest issue with quality of deepfakes is that it can't alter skull shape yet which is a subtle but very important aspect of how someone perceives someone's face on a gestalt level. Perhaps deepfakes are more popular with people who have face blindness?

I think deep fake is not there yet in terms of quality to be realistic enough. The thing is that for leaks, the reason why deep fake fails is not because it cannot get the body/ face right but you dun the true personality which is only shown in secret

I've been enjoying fakes since before they were "deep." But the few times I've looked for deepfakes there hasn't been a lot for celebs I'd actaully wanna see. Probably I'm just getting old and not giving a fuck about enough modern pop stars or whoever.

Yeah, I've been using DeepFaceLab recently with xSeg and it takes time to learn all the things such as sorting your destination/source faces, mapping out obstructions in xSeg, applying stuff in training/merging/etc.

Other prob i've ran into is you need a real good computer or else its harder to make the deepfakes because you need a good GPU

It's not at the point of crazy realistic quality but it is slowly getting there.

Most of the time you find or make deepfake videos the face replacing the pornstar or whoever is usually a celebrity because they dont got porn of themselves obvi, so if its a celebrity I like getting fucked I usually get into it

Fakes and Deepfakes are something of a guilty pleasure of mine, and I appreciate the skill it takes to make them. When it's good enough that you can ignore the fact it's fake, that's great, but that's really the major issue with Deepfake videos - the voice / vocalisations are never right, which makes it hard to ignore. I think the sweetspot for Deepfake porn videos is closer to fuxtapositions than actual full scenes. At least right now.

rare that it is good. most of the time its creepy and uncanny valley, deepfakes being a big pandoras box also makes it hard to enjoy

Its very selective for me. Has to be good quality and of people i actually want to see naked.
