I am just curious to see what people think of the quality of the deepfakes that they have seen.

When they first started appearing, there were scare stories about how we won't be able to tell if they are real or not. I accept that with time, and as technology progresses, we may get there, but I can't say I have seen anything where the quality blew me away and I couldn't tell that it was fake.

Thoughts? Anyone seen anything in particular that they felt was difficult to tell it was faked?

There's discussions there on what it takes to make a good video, and the effort that goes into making the training images.  I saw that imagesets are available to speed up the process/image quality and as time goes on they will get better and more will become available.  It's a lot of effort to find good sources and extract images though.

Deepfakes will be a large part of our future, pornwise and in every other sense. It will only get better

There is a reason why deepfake porn was banned all over the place a while back. There were some extremely convincing deepfakes where most people couldn't tell the difference.

going forward, girls will be cast specifically because they have a body type and jawline that will be compatible with deepfakes of celebrities

Look at how many movies have youngified versions of actors, and how lousy they look, and this is with hollywood resources.

It will get better, but I dont think it will ever be perfect.

My hunch is that porn studios will start hiring actresses specifically because they have a jaw and body type similar to a celebrity so they can deep fake them.
