Are they going to need to place limits on golf equipment?

It seems like players are hitting it further and further than ever before. DeChambeau apparently hit a drive 423 yards today. Sure, a lot of that has to do with the specific course conditions and better players getting better training, but I think some of it also has to do with the equipment. At some point they're going to have to rein in the balls and clubs, right? Or do you think there's some limit to the technological gains and someday we can just build longer courses so the players can't overpower them?

I think it is a bit of both, technology is making shots longer it is partly the clubs but also balls, i think the golf world has done a great job at limiting various new technologies to overpower players, maybe course length is a solution but i think the equipment is where its going to happen as there is a limit to the force the body can generate
