i really am not one to say how they should per say, but id say i perfer women who are more clean shaven, and men who are either clean shaven or close to it.

Full wax for females is the best, all the way to the butthole. Makes it all more appetizing.
For dudes I like keeping it all neatly trimmed just passed a stubble length. And I trim my butthole too so my ass hairs don't tangle up.
