Depending on the breed, cats can be very low maintenance. Unlike dogs you don’t have to take them for walks and some don’t require too much attention. You do have to be comfortable with a litter box however which you wouldn’t with dogs. Besides that, some reptiles can be very low maintenance but you have to be comfortable with live insects for most to feed.
